Social Media Marketing - More Likes, More Followers, More Conversions

 

Learning from my mistakes over many years of trial & error, I have discovered that acquiring followers is even more important than I originally thought. Especially if you are going to create an audience with very high conversion rates! A very important tool for you to start utilizing immediately is Automation software. Perhaps more important, is that you need to know how to present the right content that drives Traffic into your offers first. These are the 8 Basic Principles that I’ve found work best for me.

After working my way through the maze of making money online, my experience has shown that there are 8 Basic Principles for building a giant social media audience. I soon realized there are various strategies that will work to accomplish this, but the foundation is always the same. Some advice, especially if you’re new, is to follow someone else’s proven model to get up and running. Eventually you’ll need to develop your own content, traffic strategies, and draw from your own creativity, but following a proven template is the best way to get started.

8 Basic Principles

1. Create Professional Profiles - Profiles should highlight who you are, in order to help build trust and rapport with your audience.

2. Identify a Common Need – directly related to your niche, ie weight loss, self-improvement, fashion, etc

3. Provide a Proven Solution to fulfill that need. – ie the products and/or services you are providing.

4. Create Interest - Build the Buzz by invoking curiosity from your audience about the Solution you're providing. 


5. Share Quality Content – You can initially use content from other experts (as long as you make sure to give them credit and adhere to the rules about plagiarism) to gain recognition and begin to build your Brand reputation.

6. Publish only Useful Content – remember you are building Credibility here, so you want to make sure the content is applicable.

By strategically combining these 8 Basic Principles, you’ll build a strong foundation and watch your audience base increase fast! Statistics show that by using these 8 Basic Principles together, you can increase your audience growth by about 88% and increase audience participation and engagement by about 80% in as quickly as 7 days, in most cases, if it’s done correctly! By increasing your audience size, you will be increasing your click through rates, and ultimately increasing conversion rates. And that’s what it’s all about! It’s a numbers game.

8 Basic Principles      

1. Create Professional Profiles and build Trust and Rapport

Take your time and make each profile as clean and professional as possible. If you claim to be an "expert", your audience is going to want you to prove it. This is true, no matter what social media site you are concentrating your Ads out to; ie Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Quora, etc. Your audience will want to interact with you based on the appearance of your profile(s) presenting you as Credible Source.

2. Identify the Common Need – this is your niche, ie Weight Loss, Self-Improvement, Fashion, etc

Many beginners make the same mistakes here. They bounce around between niches and promote affiliate offers simply because they pay the most. There is an art to running successful online ad campaigns. Blindly leaping into the most lucrative affiliate deals just to make money will have you chasing your tail.  Rather, focus on a specific need, openly discussing that need with your audience, and then provide solutions that will arouse the interest of your target audience. Your audience engagement is essential to creating sales and hence generating revenue, so press the pain points of the established common need in your content 

3. Provide a Proven Solution – this is your affiliate product offer(s)

This is where it starts to really get exciting! Be sure that you are offering the right affiliate deals as the solutions that will solve the problem and satisfy the common need. You should spend a little time researching the products and/or services you’re offering to make sure they are quality reputable affiliate offers. I recommend that you offer product solutions that either you use yourself or that you wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to your own family and friends. If you want to gain followers, and build your Traffic Funnels, you have to give them a reason to first off stick around and then to keep coming back. It’s all about building trust and rapport so your target audience feels comfortable to buy from you, so make sure the solution products you offer are quality. Word will travel extremely fast about you across social media sites if not. 

 4. Create Interest

You want your Ads to be riveting and eye catching, and you want to create the “Buzz” for your solutions, so you’ll want to tap into making creative designs. There are image and video content editing software tools out there that will be very beneficial to you. One of the tools I use is a site called Canva. For me, it’s been the perfect tool for creating interesting presentations from images to banner ads to videos and even YouTube Shorts! The key is to use your creativity to create interest in your solution. You have to create a level curiosity that will stop people from just scrolling right past your Ads. 

5. Share Quality Content

As mentioned above, you can initially use content from other experts to gain recognition and begin to build your Brand reputation. I can’t stress enough, that you’ll have to make sure to give the actual writer credit and adhere to the rules about plagiarism, or else you run the risk of having your ads pulled down, or even blocked and banned from sites. Eventually you’ll want to create your own content, but initially sharing content from already well-established and well-known experts is a great way to gain followers fast! 

6. Publish only Useful Content

You want to provide content that is based on your specialized research and the commonly identified needs within your specific niche. While we all like funny cat memes and pictures of each other’s lunch, this type of content won’t spur conversion to buy your product. You want to only publish content that is relevant to the topic. Make sure the presentation is interesting, as well. Again, you want your ads to catch people’s eye and cause them to stop scrolling past. Relevant Quality Content will have your visitors actually reading and engaging with your ad posts. If they feel they’ve received good value from you, they will keep coming back, so give them a reason to do just that. 

7. Consistency

When you create multiple ad campaigns, and manage multiple social media pages, profiles, blogs, groups, spaces, and communities, it can become very time consuming and even overwhelming to make all the efforts necessary to maintain consistency. Of course, it is hugely important to stay on top of this process, so I find that automation software is a must. Balance out your time, so you can focus on the income-producing tasks by scheduling a good mix of future planned posts on all your major social networks. 8. Timing and Geo Location - the "When" and the "Where"

You want to pay attention to your own Geo Location and even more importantly, to the Geo Location of your target audience. Once again, AWeber will help you tremendously with this! Select times and places (be aware of time zones) so that your scheduled ad posts reach the optimum target audience at the times when THEY will be most likely to engage. Timing and Placement are paramount. If you’re scheduling to post ad campaigns while your target audience is sleeping, then you’re wasting your time, effort, and energy, not to mention wasting whatever money you’ve invested if you’re utilizing paid traffic.

Geo Location is also important for building affordability. Social Media sites will charge different amounts for the same ad run in different areas. Know your numbers and be aware of your cost-per-clicks so you can successfully increase your earnings-per-click.

Geo Location is also very important in choosing which offers to present to your buying audience. For instance, you cannot promote a high-ticket affiliate program in a Geo Location where the cost of the product or service exceeds the average income of that particular location. You want to present offers that your target audience can afford to buy.

So, there’s a little bit of work to do on your part, but well worth it toward the desired end result – Converting Traffic to Sales!
